Welcome to God's House
When COVID-19 shuttered the world and civil war ravaged Ethiopia, building seemed impossible. Yet “God’s House” rose anyway — not despite the chaos, but through divine orchestration within it.
This name honors both God’s welcoming spirit for everyone and the miraculous connections that defied every earthly obstacle. Built to the highest standards when standards seemed unreachable, it stands as proof that God’s timing is always perfect, even when ours isn’t
Today, children who once hid in shame walk through these doors into dignity. Mothers who whispered prayers in isolation now advocate boldly within these walls. “God’s House” is exactly what its name promises: a place where all are welcome, all are valued, and all can thrive.

What began as Asayech’s God-given vision for one center has proven something revolutionary: when you give special needs children dignity and train their mothers to become advocates, the impossible becomes inevitable.
This dream building will be Africa’s first comprehensive special needs medical center — not just medically focused, but training others as well. A place where professionals from across Africa come to learn, then return home to transform their own communities.

Meet our extraordinary leader, a visionary, and the Executive Director of Tikuret in Ethiopia, Sister Asayech Yirega. As a seasoned nurse by profession, Asayech embarked on a remarkable journey 17 years ago, dedicating her life to the well-being of children in need. Her passion and commitment have propelled her to the forefront of the organization, where she serves as a beacon of inspiration.
